Ever try smoked or grilled fish in this recipe? I think it teats better than fresh fish. This soup is good in hot weather.

I love the smoked fish (Trey Cha`er)version as well. All the ingredients make the soup very tasty but adding smoked fish gives the best flavor.
Most Cambodian preferred smoked fish but it is very difficult to find authentic Khmer smoked fish in the market.
