Yes, all the spices give good flavor to the soup but adding chicken broth or bouillon enhances better flavor and takes away some of the fish smell.

		<description>I think the fish and all those spices should give you enough flavors, but if you want stronger flavor, why not use fish stock instead of chicken since it is after all a fish soup.  The direction is pretty good to follow, specially with those nice photos.</description>
