Welcome Aoyama san,
Thank you for your compliment.

Japanese food is as healthy as Khmer food, therefore I selected Japanese food as my second choice for alternative. I do make it from time to time.

Your Kaisen-don looks amazing. It looks like what I would eat in a nice restaurant in Tokyo. How do you know some of the Japanese food that you make?
Keep up with your great work!

-poo phnom, raw fish is good but certain raw fish like salmon should be carefully eaten. I heard it contains parasite. So far it hasn't happen to us yet.

Yes, Japanese food and products are relatively expensive but there's quality.

I am sorry, I disabled my skype.

Suo sdey Crazyglue,
When it comes to writing Khmer in phonetic, I believe it depends on how you're used to pronounce the words. Kuy Teav perhaps is closer to Khmer sound. Ka Taev probably a fast way to say it or lazy way.

If I may, "Ka Taev" should be "Kuy Teav" shouldn't it? because in khmer we write - គុយទាវ
សូមអរគុណ។

20US$ for 1 bowl!
Wasyoku(Japanese foods) are also relatively expensive in Japan,
prices are various but not that much expensive.

btw, if you use Skype and search 'poophnom', there will be 1 hit.

You're right, kaisen don can be found in many Japanese restaurants. However, I think it is eaten on occasion because it is expensive. Regular size bowl like you see in the pic is easily 20US$ or up.

Have you tried? :)
