Hey There was just surfing through the internet looking for some new reading blog posts when i found this post on bing. I had to leave you a comment to show you that I genuinely appreciated this post. I can not come across much quality anymore on the net nowadays with all the useless posts on the market so whenever I do find a great write-up I cherish it. To Pradal Serey,
what is the different between Bokator and Pradal Serey? I guess Bokator is part of pradal serey, Pradal Serey is an over all Khmer ancient martial (muay Thai).

Please share input.

Obama?…. anyways back to Khmer Martial Art

First, Respects to anyone with love for the Martial Arts. I’ve practiced Pradal Serey and other arts since i was 6 in 1988

(Muay Thai) Khmer speakers should refrain from saying it if at all possible. Remember, we have a name for that too. It’s Pradal Serey (short translation = “Freestyle” Boxing or fighting). Many of our Khmer people have survive and are now bring this fighting style to your minds and hearts.

I love the Khmer pride but…..,Bokator = To pound the lion,how old is the style really? Lions in Cambodia, how long ago? All I here is rumors. Where is the written literature. I’ve been to Ankor Watt. A statue, a carvings in stone. This situation can be compared to sound of orchestral music with no lyrics. We’re only guessing at what the artist is trying to say. Where is his diary. Who are the masters he was depicting with his art? With over a thousand separate move/techniques, what carving/ancient khmer art says Bokator flying elbow step 1?

if you can’t buy the DVD where you at, you can practice “Muay Thai,” it’s the same forms. “Muay Thai” is equivalent to Khmer Bokator. No different, they just took it and change the name.

i used to watch { Buffalo protect child} wich showed about Khbach Kun Khmer. It was one of the good movie.
I cant wait to watch this one, too. As a Khmer new generation, it is worth to know about it.

eventhough i am an american citizen, i am very proud of the khmer tradition, especially knowing bokator is our angkorian martial art. i have always held true values to cambodian cultures and way of life, but it gets deeper as i get older. again, i cannot wait for the dvd to come out and i am so happy to have found the truth of muy khmer. it saddens me to know that thai people stole lots of things from us. it angers me, but i must be humble about it. as we all know, it was our king. anyhow, i am thankful of bokator and the khmer empire of the s.e.a.
